How does the warranty stand then?  Is it transferable, if not I would suggest that he sends it back to you for further investigation, so that you can take it back to the shop under the warranty from the original sale.

That would eb an amicable approach.

can you post you ebay selling page so I can see how you advertised it please..... that will make all the difference ....

the problem is with buying stuff over the net (this is mainley new) you have a 14 day cooling of period and if you have a problem you can send the good back for refund.

You should say to him thats fine if there is a problem you will recieve a refund if the phone is in the same condition that it was advertised in, like you say next to new.
If the phone is no longer in the condition as you sent it then you will not recieve a refund.

If I can see your add I might be able to help more, if you put in the add, the item was sold as seen and basically saying it was working and is next to new at time of sale then you should be ok

But its really shit the buyer is always protected more  [wall]

Paypal can be a nightmare, but he won't be able to do anything unless he says that it never arrived and you have emails to show that it did. He may be confused with another phone, maybe ask him for the serial number to check , assuming that you have it of cousrse, maybe from the initial invoice from the provider ?

From what you've posted he sounds like a plonker unfortunately Jon  [wall]

Hopefully he'll just fade away and all will be ok and otherwise you might just have to tolerate him and I'm sure that there's little he can do really so I wouldn't worry about it Jon  :icon_thumright:

with high value items i.e. well over 50 notes in my opinion  it's always worth getting tracking info on the deliiver else he buyer can claim back from paypal claiming on non delivery

I'm concerned that he's buying and selling these things like hot cakes to be honest, could be more to it than meets the eye, maybe it's me looking too deep?  :dontknow: Also, if you sold it in good faith and was working fine before you sent it, surely it's out of your control. Does ebay have any ground rules on this? Worth a further look.

thats a very good Idea,  :iamwithstupid:

If it was me I would and if he weren't to far I would go and meet him to view the phone so he can show me the issue, you can normally tell a bluffer in person better, if he refuses to meet you then he has refuse the resolution you have offered and then he has no come back.

The resolution to see the product and to change under warrenty if broken and genuine is a valid one so if he refuses then thats his choice

What they've all said mate. Sounds a bit like he has a dodgy one from before and is trying it on.... [naughty]
