Time for a change in career?
« on: January 02, 2007, 11:40:33 PM »

Ok 2007 is here and I'm thinking that I need to start my own business and branch out on my own.

First off I was thinking that fast food delivery could be a good option  but it seems that all angles have been covered with that really.

then I thought, Electricians, I'll train as an electrician as they will always have plenty of work, then I saw this and thought who needs training.

Then I though I'd become one of those tourist photographers, how hard can it be

What about child care, I've to kids of my own, I work in a school

I could continue to use the bike

but I think it could be a dangerous job

but not without it's perks

Then I thought outside the box and could I get the missus to do some high paid work, I mean she's a good looking blonde, why not catwalk modelling, could be a non-starter though

So it looks like I need to stick what I know, I work in IT and do repairs, people are always messing their 'puters up so there must be loads of work out there.

How to:

Boot up the laptop

Clean the computer of crap

Disk repairs

Installations

I have all the shortcuts and best tools sorted

And I have history with Personal Computers

For support calls I've already sorted out my hands free kit

And just in case, I already have optional customer service protocols in place

So what advice can you guys give me for 2007?
