i have to also confess that I likes the CBR1000 far more in the flesh than in the pics in mags, albeit the fairing doesn't look aggresive enough to catch my eye though  :dontknow:

well that second pic looks like a pikey carrying a
shovel on the side of his bike ( the exhaust)

the first one , dont realy like the exhaust, if you were to
change it for a loud pipe you would loose some of the
fairing, will make it look 'gappy', same prob on the gixer
k7 if you take a look.

think i'll be sticking with me 05 10r for a fair few
years yet Andy mate.

only the 1098 0r 848 has floated my boat at the mo :icon_thumleft:

Must say the new Blades' styling seems to have gone backwards 15 years.................the fairing looks too upright, as though you've dressed up a GPZ500 or something !

CB thou could be a 'grower', though !

Apart from the pipe, the naked CB1000 looks quite good, unfortunately the Fireblade looks shite.  Last years model in Repsol colours looked very tempting and the old urban tiger 'blade was very nice, but the others are just ordinary, a Honda failing.  The problem is it's rubbing off on the other Japanese companies, it's only Europe and America that seem to be taking any chances, the new Buell for example, and the "transformers" Benellis.

As long as the arse end looks good, that's probably all that most racers will see of it
