Ive just had my yearly upgrade. Got a blinding deal this year off 02.

Ive got the new Nokia N95 smartphone after having the Sony Ericsson K800i.

The phone is pretty good from what ive used in the last 2 days. The GPS is really good for me as i dont have a sat nav.

Anyone else got one of these?

What Mobiles are you all using?

if you have the new gen one you should be ok but the previous one had battery issues.... My boss used to do programming for nokia pretty good phones

I still have the k800i

was looking to get the k850i Maher has just bought one and I am not sure I am keen on it . I think I might get the Iphone when they release the second Gen one or maybe go for the W960i

 ive had a n95 for 6 mnths or more now ,,, never had a batt issue  ..but do make sure u go online and update it jon ..or u'll find it will keep crashing alot ... i think they came out about .7  but udates are now on .13 i believe     ... ther a fantastic fone and ill be getting the new n95 black on my nxt upgrade

the battery issue is that it runs out really quick .... my boss and his son has the old one runs out before the end of the day.....

im still using an old but now back in fasion,MDA phone,its basicly an iphone before its time with full internet,msn,an all that plus touch screen as well,just no built in gps thats all,but it will handle tomtom via a blue tooth sat reciver.............

plus that iphone has a PISS POOER cam by to days standard.....so hay,i would go for the nokia all day for an up grade

 im more of a txt'er   my batt lasts about 3 days ... and one of the updates is a batt update that gives better life ... alot of ppl dont realise ther are updates for these fones ... but if u dont run them they are quite unreliable  ...plus its like a mini computer   if u leave lots of app's running it does wear the batt down faster ..a quick way to check this is press and hold down the left hand button

N95 for me, no issues with battery or crashing. Had a few different manufacturers but always seem to go back to Nokia.

Had N95 for a few weeks now, fantastic phone and battery ok for me usually last around 2-3 days if i'm working but has lasted longer when is sat on the side at home.

How did you update the s/w? Do I need a cable to do it? And will I lose anything on the phone if I do it? Or is it just like a normal s/w upgrade that retains the old files and settings?

 Load ur nokia software ,connect ur fone ,and clicky update ,,easy peasy ..it will tell u to save settings as u go thro the update ..tis really very easy

How do I connect the pc and phone i.e. cable/bluetooth/wireless..?
