you shouldn't be looking ..... if your looking at your clock you will be crashing for sure 

who cares how fast you are going mid corner....

just as long as its the fastest you can take it

  tape it up, I have a mate who looked at his speedo on th estraight at Snetterton and landed up not making the corner. To much distraction and you land up trying to beat yourself and push harder and harder until  .......... oops.

At Brands tipping into Paddock Hill bend i glanced down and saw 90mph on the clock.......chasing Glenn around Silverstone,cant remember the name of the corner but its the one that is just before the dip/bridge as you approach the complex,we were taknig that at 120 and 125mph consistantly.
Dont put me off glancing at the clocks,only do it after im all set up for the corner.
