Had 4 bikes in a year, the last one i put 2000 miles on before i upgraded to a zx10r  so in 3 months so ive been riding in most conditions , but i still dont like the ice

Yep - Scottish weather aint nice. At least you won't get flooded in Dumfries. How do you like the new bike. I have the same year/colour and still can't wipe the grin (drool) from my face when I take it out.....

Stopped riding mine 3 weeks ago, came back from spain on it, got near oxford and it started to snow.
so its gone away for winter.

Every day for me and I love it.

At the moment I'm practising the dark art of "clutch up wheelie"  as well, however I had a little arse twitching moment the other day when I dumped the clutch and the front came up and the rear started to spin as well 

Still roads were dry this evening so I had another go and I'm making progress, albeit slowly.

Winter roads are the training ground for the summer roads

Rode my Ten into London on Saturday and it fekin " lashed down "  Fine time for me to find out that my dark visor doesn't seal properly  - visibility down to a knats cock !!

Rain stopped when I got to the bike shop and went inside for an hour .......

Jumped on the Gixxer and it promptly lashed down again all the way home so now the fucker is " hanging " 

I hate British winters

It was a tad nippy on the fingers today.  What's the wind-chill factor at 105mph

The gritters were out last night, but it stayed cloudy around our way, so the temperature didn't drop too much.  I think people have started their Xmas hols, cos the roads are noticeably quieter.
