600 to a 1000

Andy J:
in my opinion Kawasaki just seem to get it right once in a while and I have to have one, so far I've had to have

GPZ900R A1  in 1984
ZXR750H1 in 1989
ZX10R in 2005

everytime there's been something I couldn't resist (of course there was the ZX6G1 but couldn't afford one at the time)

I test rode the 636 against the 10 back to back and have to say that I did crap myself and found the power to much for me.

I'd only been riding for 9 months at the time and I'd come from a ZZR 600 but I realised that the power was too much for me.

On hindsight I did ride it like a 600 so that probably wasn't the wisest of decisions, hence the need for new underwear, but as for the 636 I out a deposit down before I left the showroom.

If as you say you've had experience of 1000's then it shouldn't really be a problem.
