Youth of today, thick as mince.
« on: November 28, 2007, 09:36:15 PM »

I go to college on a thursday (doing an electrical engineering HNC) . Now I am no old fella, a spritely 31, I still consider myself as yoof. I am shocked on a weekly basis by the stupidity of my younger colleagues. The thing is because they, (two in particular) are thicker than whale omelettes I cannot stop myself from telling them little fibs. About 4 weeks ago dullard 1 was unsure of how the english taxation system works, so I told him, as close to the truth as I could. You get a tax free amount per year (which runs april to april), any earnings over that sum you are taxed at 22% up to a certain figure, where the % goes up, overtime is of course not taxable, and if you ask HR for the "taxation opt out form" you can specify which country (must be in the EU) taxation system you want to be on.
He has been working 70 hour weeks, to take advantage of the "loophole".  :emb:
He gets paid on the first???????????

It amuses me every week.
Oh and Dullard 2 is now certain that a female buffalo is actually called a muffalo... :iamwithstupid: :iamwithstupid:

[rofl] [rofl] [rofl] Has he been to see the Muffalo migration in Wales yet? Absolutely amazing! The welsh don't like to talk about it though because it attracts too many tourists.
