Yes with a cafe next to the spiyfire museim. its the widest runway in the UK. I used to fly chipmunks out of there when i was in the Air Cadets back in my school days, Back then they used to have a wessex copter there for air see rescue used to get the odd ride up and down the cost,

yes I did AEF there in chipmunks... I did my first 4 leaf clover there in one then threw up when we landed

Had lots of good times while in school, what with 51 commando based in deal we had a gun club at school, so wednesday eves went to the barracks .22 indoor range to play with all they had to offer, then with the air cadets flying at manston and the marines had a fireing range up the road at kingsdown so once a month we would go there and fire  SLR's GIMPYS, BROWNING's How many 14 year olds get to fire a GPMG with live amo (unless you live in IRAC)
