The above link relates to one night last summer. Guy was on his way home from Barton bike night, approx 10,000 bikes attend this event. So as you can imagine the roads were full of bikes. This poor woman had her "life ruined" apparently. Bear in mind she was attempting a U turn on a 60mph road!!! (hope it works).

Under cross-examination, she maintained: "I didn't see a motorcycle on that road because there wasn't one there."

WTF!!!

the car drivers action was not intentional, absolutely no excuse for her .but wear high vis clothing. all black does not help. You want to survive? Make allowances for the less competant.

I ride all day every day,and when I go out I work on the basis that EVERY car driver is out to kill me,that way I survive, and anticipate their bad driving.RIP the biker. But how many times does this happen? A lot.

very sad indeed, RIP bike riding dude.

As for the driver, she should of been charged for causing death by dangerous driving. A 10 year ban and an extended driving test would of been more suiting, so that she would of been too old to pass again.....
