did it take you till 1.28am to do it

was gonna change mine to red, is it just a change of LED's or is it resistors as well?

nah mate, just left it till late to take a pic so it was nice and dark in the garage

yeah its just the led's that need replacing, they are surface mount LED's so you will need a small needle soldering iron, mine was 15 watt i think so not to heat the board to much

i had to get another set of LED's tho as i found out the hard way that you cant heat them more than 3-4 secs or it just kills the LED's

but i have a multi meter which will test them so once fitted to the board i checked they where ok then rebuilt the clocks and all was fine, all in all it took me about 2.5 hours to do

I've got a Wella temperature controlled 45 watt Job.  I just need to get some new tips for it. Sponge is OK.  Something to do over the winter. :)

just be careful not to over heat the board with the 45 watt soldering iron

guy in maplin said 15 watt was fine for board soldering
