It's cheaper to get the kit ecu isn't it?  I don't think US model bikes have the immobiliser, so a trawl through ebay.com should solve the problem for the least outlay.

he recons he can do any key will get his numbe rand let you know ?:)

Not really, if it is possible to interrogate the ecu to get the code then the thieves would be able to do it as well.

Not really, if it is possible to interrogate the ecu to get the code then the thieves would be able to do it as well.

Would they shine a big lamp at the ECU and ask it questions then?
