Firstly, if you're under 30 years old this thread will probably read like an old man gibbering, be warned
With the NEC just 'around the corner' and all the new spangly designer plastic on show to keep us in debate over the winter what about the older bikes ? there are a few at the show but nothing much really
Aye, the old man drones on
but there are so many bikes to admire from years gone by too
I'm really interested to get to a decent sized show, obviously not in NEC proportions neither do I want to see a show of 20 old british bikes so what is there where I can see CB900's, GPZ550's, RD350LC's, CB1100R's etc. I'd like to go to one to remind me of the 70's & 80's bikes if there's such a thing
Yes, I'm in my 40's now and lifes view is becoming a bit different, I've got the 10R I lusted after but the new stuff ain't all that exciting really as it much of a muchness and my 'oldie worldie 10'
will certainly do me for the forseeable future for sure. I'd just like to appreciate some of the old stuff in it's 'natural form'.
I've been to the Streetfighter show which is great if you like GSXR engines and like to see some engineering and trick paint jobs at Sheffield but fancy seeing something different, I also know that there's a musuem at Donnington but is it any good.
Let the abuse commence
