Guys what would be a fair price to pay for your bike to be transported to a race track?

its hard to say mate as you would need to know how many bike are going how many mile how many different locations etc

I am gonna be blatantly honest with you... trackdays in the summer are expensive..... and its hard to justify the cost if you and everyday joe so trackday transport is a no goer...

I am a regular trackdayer now and will be till my credit cards explode but I couldn't justify the extra cost to transport my bike

hence why I have a 600 quid shitty transit.... but a trackday support vehicle with workshop etc tyre change kit would be fooking awesome

thats 35 litres of fuel roughly.... if it was close I would just drive a van or ride....

if we were talking cadwell or knockhill then I might think about bike transport using the transport to leave the night before and stat in it.... might think about it

The figures are steep. I need to make a make a minimium per month(obviously) to make this work and I'm not sure I can do it. It's a huge risk but if a can make a calculated risk or minimise the risk it makes it worth while.

that's a great idea if you can balance the books.anyone who needs a van anyway for work etc  is probably better off using it  but if the van is only for the bike then  a collective effort would be much cheaper. possibilities are good, especially if you had services to sell, dyno, good tyre deals  and  several guys all doing the same events during the season... work at it, could turn the forum into a club, team, sponsors ,go for it. got to be green though....

if you could get an MOT tester certificate and a tyre change kit..... this would be the bread and butter for it..... I am sure that would make enough to make a turn over... problem is a race wagon isn't really a proper mobile service shop as you wouldn't be able to take it down small roads or estates and just park it anyway as it will be slightly big for it...

I would say good luck and I do hope it can be worth while as it will be interesting... but I would for sure say

really think about it..... Mark is 100% right unless you can get the bread and butter sorted like tyre change service your gonna be throwing money away
