this maybe true mate...... but I am spoilt with technology I have a zx10r and I don't give a shit what anybody says the nine is nothing on the ten....

not the looks , the perfomance or the handling... the only thing it would be better than the ten would to be a workhorse/tourer

how can you comment on a bike you have never ridden and state those things as facts.

and how many bike have you actually ridden to be in a possition to state that the 10 is as good as it gets ??

lets face it there are nicer and quicker bikes out there than the zx10,not many but they are there.

indeed but a move forwards in evalution dosnt mean that whats it has replaced is shit does it?

when the R1 went fuel injection did that make the carb one shit ? no infact the carb one was faster and when set up fueled alot better.

does my head in when people who dont know what they are talking about slate bikes because they are a few years older.

and just for the record my 10 is 6mph faster top end than my 9 is acording to speedo readings

fair enough I know the ten aint the easiest bike to ride fast and on a K5 gixxer I could probably go faster....

your taking what I have posted far too seriously.... if you knew me then you would know I am pissing about..... I don't know why you have such a bee in your bonnet..

So I haven't riden the 9r but it is very similar to the ZX6R G1 I used to own as it looks almost similar depending on year of course.... the tank is big the weight balance isn't great and the seating position is to flat.... its not as focused as the ten and I can talk as far as power is concerned as I haven't riden the 9

But out of all bikes I have riden the 04/05 ten engine is the best....

And I couldn't give a shit what anyone says biking for me is about the feeling you get from it and the ten is the most exciting bike I have ever riden

ive had a rake load of kwaks myself  and i also have  never  tried the 9R. it never appealed to me, so i had no need to.
everyone to their own etc but to me it always  looked a bit left behind in the design department.

thats my own opinion and i dont mind if you slate my current bikes, just leave my ex wifes broomstick out of it

I vote with grninja, the10r is an incredible road bike, way over the top performance wise. I haven't ridden many modern supersports bikes but rode a lot of bikes that were fast in their time and the10 is king in every aspect. other folks will prefer different bikes and so it should be, some bikes have faults in one area or another, known fact, the only fault with the 10 and perhaps more the older ones  is the animal nature.... suits me down to the ground, but I don't expect everyone to agree .My mate disagrees? I hope he likes what he rides. now you guys keep up the slagging, it makes me laugh. Oh and someone tell me in plain language how to get smileys  on a post; yeah  I know i'm stupid......
