You poor bastard......get your own TV.......Life on Mars is one of the funniest programmes of the last 5 years......a 2006 copper goes back in time to 1973 and ends up in a police department where "Gene Hunt" is the "Sherriff"......the comedy comes from the ultra PC, non racist, non sexist copper constantly having to deal with the sexist, racist, homophobe Gene Hunt who thinks nothing of beating confessions out of suspects and "Fitting" people he doesn't like up with manufactured evidence........he is nearly always drunk, smokes like a chimney and regularly puts investigations on hold so his whole team can get plastered in the pub across the road.....
A real poke in the eye for the PC brigade (it got lots of complaints which is always a good thing in my book)..and really F**king funny.......genuine highside the sofa stuff.
Well worth a look now the biking season is over....
