nah thats all shite...... riding for me is about the thrill of going fast , that feeling when I have nailed the corner really well , not about sitting back and farting about  :dontknow:

you need to try off road pal it's bloody excellent and when you fall off you get straight back on, I've just sold my CR but will prob get a 4 stroke next year for pissing about on  :headbang:  I used to think that off road was boring until I got a decent m-x bike when I was 26 and had the fooking time of my life  :headbang: :headbang:  I'm old and fragile now but do fancy some green laning as I reckon that'd be brilliant to do  :icon_thumright:

So if it's the ultimate bike with absolutely no financial constraints, why on earth are all you lot opting  for the compromised yuppie toy Ducati-lite road bike, when you could have the real full-fat Moto GP one ?   :dontknow:

I think Pat, is that I would be scared to crash it so wouldn't ride it as hard as something else. GPspares are not really off the shelf and as the sport moved on every season spares would becoome harder and harder to get.

So ? you said it's unlimited budget, just make sure you order a big spares kit when you buy it !

Most of the easily crash-damaged bits would be  sorta-off the shelf stuff anyway - Brembo, Ohlins, Marvics etc. fairings can be made easily enough.

There's still people out there thrashing around TZ750s & RG500 etc . race & GP bikes that are 30 odd years old !

That's more like the right attitude !   :icon_thumright:

Plus on that unlimited  budget, you  could probably get them to throw in a few days track training from Casey Stoner to seal the deal !   :headbang:
