My concerns are with my lads stepping up from a tiddly 125 that manages 80mph to a much larger 600 with 150mph, I try to convince a 600 Bandit would be good to step up to and can take a few falls but the kids want a 600 sports these days and they are affordable. I know that accidents can happen at any speed but an 18 year old on a sports 600 will probably ride too fast. Yes there are many points to a discussion on bike progression but I'd personally rather see my lads slowly step up to the mark just like I did, I worry about them for sure
Im my day it was
50cc
125cc
250cc
550cc
750/1000cc
as a rough route
now it's
50cc
125cc
600cc
The difference I see is that the 125's haven't changed hugely performance wise but the step to 600cc sports is massive and is equivalemt to me stepping from my 125 to 1000 cc which would have been so wrong.
oh well my 2p worth anyhow
nice one Kawasaki for plugging a gap
