Hello all, new ZX9R E1 owner from Skeggy
« on: October 23, 2007, 09:46:12 PM »

lo all, found link to this forum from another site, was having  look through the posts and I already know some of ya from www.mcnninjas.co.uk , hope to speak to ya all soon, might see some of ya at next MCN night if ya going. Currently have a 9R E1, the 10R is my dream bike, I love what MrWippy hs done with his, the 9R is of the road at the moment, needs a few things doing, including calipers and major service/ shims etc, but hoping to get some money together to get all this done.

Cheers...

Tony.

Thanks GRNINJA, MrWippy and Shongololo, been having a look around, you all seem like top folks, although all these 10R's are making me a tad bit envious lol ;)

I think I would be lucky to get 50 pence back for my 9R at the moment lol, after seeing MrWippy's masterpiece, thinking about doing something a bit creative to mine also, although not sure how that would affect the price, once I get that back on the road, then I am gonna start looking :D

Anyone feeling like their 10 is too much for them and would like to trade down ???  [rofl]  :emb:

Hi Jedi, how did you find the trade up from the B4 to the 10R then ??

I purchased the 9R in 2003 tried out a Ducati 996 and a B1 ZX6 at the same time as I was upgrading from a ZX6R J2 model, but I found the B1 really hurt my wrists, have not managed to blag a shot on a 10R yet, but hoping as they are a bit bigger they will be able to put up with a 6`3" rider and not destroy my wrists as much, saying that i know the 9R is a bit like a sports tourer nowadays and am not expecting the same level of comfort lol
