you're missing the point. My point is that if it starts playing up during the trackday could you not have just unplugged it so you could continue riding without problems? I'm not saying remove it completely

you missing my point.... I wanted to fix the problem not unplug it  [rofl]

the problem was 2 things the chain tension and the actually selector arm was fucking loose to the point it was almost coming off.... so unplugging it was of masked the fact that the selector arm was loose

thanks for a good day, guys - despite being ridiculously slow (slower than the slowest of the slow slows going slower than a very slow slow thing), i still got my knee down plenty  :icon_thumright: always a good thing, cause i deliberately dont on the road - its my little track treat  :headbang:

well as you will have seen, snet isnt the greatest of tracks on the sv650 - particularly if you forgot to change the sprockets to the ideal 15-44 setup... so was running brands gearing lol *doh* and topping out about halfway down the back straight...i need my forks rebuilding anyway as the front end seems rather vague (and thats not just in comparison with the zx - rode an sv to compare it and they need a recon)...

so 7 seconds a lap slower than i normally am...the cost of a broken hand...ah well...

still - had fun and good to see you all again  :headbang:

good to follow you for 2 laps , you got some funny lines on that sv for sure , would of been good to see you lines on the ten would of been better comparison....

was a great day all in all.... was a bit pissed with my 1.22 but I know for sure that I could of done quicker so compared to these http://www.hottrax-motorsport.co.uk/Snet%20April%20Final/Timing%20Sheets/Junior_RaceResult.pdf
I am quite happy really.

I do like snetterton for sure  :icon_thumleft:

so did you fix it then??  Sounds like a 5 minute job with a couple of spanners (one to hold the nut and the other to hold the spanner) ;)
