Looking to get a bullet cam..

  ............ But i already have a dv camcorder  it just does not have an av in/out.. Been looking around and found this http://www.bikecameras.com/DigitalVideoRecorder.php Does anyone no if they are any good or have any footage from one of these ?

A mate has one and it's small and a decent recorder, as it takes SD cards then they are cheap media for plenty of recording. Battery life could be better so I'd recommend powering from the bike.

Magic Kwak may well have a link to some video from it if you ask him nicely  :-P

Get a trailer mount then you can have it behind you recording KD action as you hang off  :tongue3:

Oh and don't get a standard SD card, get one with a faster write speed.  You can see from the footage that it's a bit juddery every 5 or 6 seconds.  I can only put this down to the recording on the card. 

The guy has bought a faster SD card and on first impressions it seems to have cured it.

Oh and whilst your at it get the cable that controls the unit so you can switch it on and off rather than rely on it having enough power to keep running.  If you can also get the cable that supplied the power from the bike then even better as it uses up a huge amount of batteries otherwise.
