Thing that concerns me with this is that we only have the advertisers word that he was ripped off & despite no-one knowing the guy from Adam, everyones taking his word as gospel.    

How do we even know he bought a car off him ?   

For all we know he may have been trawling ebay, has noticed that the guy's bought a tasty bike &  just want to know the guys address so he can turn up with a van one night & help himself to it ?   

OK this probably is genuine, but how would anyone on here feel if they'd been duped into providing someones address under false pretences & something untoward happened ?

Correct!My KMX was stolen a few years back,had witnesses and reg no of van,called 999 5 times,the NEVER turned up,3 weeks later they spoke to me after I had made several complaints,in the end they said it was a Control room operators error,they were very sorry,and thanked me for bringing it to their attention!!!Wankers,still have never seen my bike,and never will.
