my two cents on the topic.. if you're looking for something else, go dramatically different. i love some of the other jap 4 bikes, but they're all so similar nowadays that you're more or less riding the same shit with different colors. big 4 have all the same HP, all handle well, all stop well.. slightly different shape and feel, but almost hard to justify spending more money on minor differences that you wont notice anymore once you're used to riding both anyway. our garage as of two weeks ago had an '07 Aprilia TuonoR, an '04 Gixxer 750, an '07 Ducati Sportclassic, an '07 Gixxer 600, an '05 Gixxer thou, an '02 R1, and my '06 10R. most of which have been sold or kicked out in the last week or so.. and for what its worth.. i say get something 10 shades of different. i wouldn't have wanted to exclusively own any 2 of those bikes on their own, that were so similar.
