Hi from Switzerland

Just wanted to introduce myself. My name is Ralph and I've been riding bikes for over 25 years. I was  born in the UK and when I was 9 years old my parents decided to move back to Switzerland. Despite that beeing a long time ago I still have my british touch and love to visit you folks from time to time. I bought my current ride, a ZX10R of course, in 2004. Mods are a set of Heli Bars (a tribute to age), DLC-coated pistons for the front brake calipers, braided brake lines, Leo Vince Factory Evo slip on, PCIII, GIPRO, fender eliminator and some other goodies.

you'd be suprised how many bikes you see here on weekends. Switzerland has one of the highest rates of bikes per habitants in Europe. We have very nice roads and sceneries, the Alps, France and the Black Forrest are only about 50 km away from where I live. So far so good. The downsides are, way to many people in their cars on the road, very strict speed limits, extremely high fines and the cops do everything to catch you speeding and have the newest equipment :-(
As a result most of my riding is in France and in Germany with an occasional spin on one of our local backroads on Sunday morning.
An other problem is that we have no racetracks at all. Some 50 years ago swiss government spoke a ban on race tracks bacause of an incident in Le Mans. If we want to visit a track we have to go to Hockenheim, Dijon, Anneau du Rhin etc.
