« on: September 24, 2007, 10:05:04 PM »

took my old mans scooter up to dunfermline for a service after work today (he`s away on holiday n asked if i would take it up)
fook me a was scared shitless how the f""k folk ride these things is beyoned me .
squeeze the brakes and you feel the frame flexing it took me 3 miles till i got the hang of the clutch lever being the rear brake lever  [wall] screeming the tits of it into a wind doing 40mph oops filled my keggs again when a lorry goes past you get blown all over the road and its nervouse as fook with those wee wheeels . eventualy got to dunfermline and my nerves are shot i considering paying some one else to bring it down the road tomorrow.

on the ones I've got here the brakes are quite the opposite they lock the wheels with almost no effort (unlike my 10R)  all brambo with braided lines as standard too    ok cheap end brembo yes  very cheap end but they do work really well. I've got a 50cc and a 100cc that I'm selling from my old moped hobby that I can't be bothered with anymore

The bars will flex because if you remove the plastic covers they will look weaker than a BMX set of bars held to the yokes with a single clamp/bolt on many scooters

Yep you're spoiled with the top end bikes, now you see what the teenages have to put up with  :tongue3:
