You can get road leagal knobbly tyres to fit the rims.

Are you gonna take it off road or is it purely for on road fun?

Not my idea of a great commuter unless mounting the pavement is gonna get you to work quicker :lol:

Woman in work used to ride one of those in every day, till it got nicked (3rd time it never came back), I think she's about 5' 4".

How she ever got on it I will never know.  She now runs a Bandit but she only rides for commuting, which I can't understand at all.  :icon_scratch:

<modified>

She ran a 650 not a 200

Yeah theres an alternative A route i can take into london which is a lot of fun so the two stroke will be fine as she will do 80 easy at the weekend and i dont need above 40 for most london riding :) and youre right - mounting the pavement is quite a handy option to have in london especially when its raining and everyone is out in their cars...

yeah gonna look for tyres and wheels shortly cause it would be easier to change the wheels than the tyres :)

and at the weekends...  :headbang:

If you really want it , get new rims laced onto the hubs, not really a big deal, I used to do my own. might be hard to track down  a  wheelbuilder now, though.

they made loads of versions of these including bigger cc (220 i think) and are still very popular for off road riding so you should have no probs getting any mods you want. I had a kmx200 about 15 years ago and it was ace, used to get me pegs down on it and power wheelie in the first 3 gears  :!:
only sold it when I realised that i could get far cooler scars from a 250lc insted  [afro]
