The lads fought like animals on wireless ridge....



As a siggy I got issued slippers.

In blah in '93 i heard the funniest thing a whole "flock" (I think thats the correct collective term) of paras singing "hands up, baby hands up, gimme your heart gimme gimme your heart" to marines entering theatre. It was quite moving.... [rofl] [rofl] I am laughing thinking about it

When issued his wings a Para can be directly compared to a whale omelette in thickness...... I am not making that up its true.

Anyone who calls an expara, or a serving para come to think of it, thick, must be very very brave or sucidal :lol: :lol:

Another of my sons mates was in the paras but fooked his knee on a jump. Got invalided out and now CAGE FIGHTS :shock:

When he was training he took great pleasure in demonstrating his moves on me :shock: I ache just thinking about it :-O
