The Knee Bones................

.....................lookin like its fractured too. Went to the fracture clinic today as a follow up to my off last month. should have been within 7 days of discharge from swindon hospital but in true NHS style earliest i could be seen down here was today 21 days after discharge. The doc sent me for some x-rays to see how things are mending. It seems that my knee has a fracture in the joint which was not picked up while i was in swindon. He sent me to the william Harvey hospital 20 odd miles away for a CT scan this afternoon. He says its not drastic or serious , but its a little disconcerting when he gets a CT appointment within 4 hours and descusing operating on monday. Good job its  not serious ay, or id be in theater tonight  [rofl] find out results and what opperation if any will take place tomora mornin.

Good  job they spotted it Jedi, Chap i know had his broken for 2 years, only found out when he had another accident, fixed now but could of caused problems. Speedy recovery mate :icon_thumright:

my chioces are let it be, its not giving me any pain it will heel as is but he says 2 years down the line i will suffer from artheritis in the knee.
the other choice is let him opperate i will still get artheritis but 5 - 20 years time he cant garantee how long it will be trouble free. the drawback for this is my recovery will be knocked back by 4 weeks. so from relitively pain free movement i will go back to painfull imobility. But he is confident he can reconstruct the knee so looks like i have no choice but to go back under the knife

like you say there's no choice really and to not do anything would be many years of regret by the sound of it  :-/

dosnt look like i will make donny to spectate now though, before this set back i would have been ok. so if anyone wants a room at the travel lodge near donny for the sunday night theres one for grabs, i booked and paid for it before the off
