dijon n oulton.
« on: September 19, 2007, 05:14:24 PM »

well folks had a awesome time over in france that big k5 is mind blowing when you get it opened up day one went out but the gearing was way out (theres a straight that goes on forever at dijon) so changed to 16/43 and was reving out in top just before my braking marker. was happy to leave the gaering and got the head down to see what we could do and  :headbang: this was the quickest bike down the straight by a country mile my mates got paul hunts tt superbike and i put 15 to 20 bike lengths on him down the straight.i was useing bsb slicks the grip you get from these is hard to get your head round was grinding out knee and toe sliders you can tighten a line at will with these things rode inside and around everyone with total confidence.only problems i had was everyone coming to the garage when i pulled in for a rest they where all over it taking fotos and asking my allsorts it was good to get back out on track to get away from it all.over the two days only one rider got past me and i was able to run with him almostb taking him back again twice in the same lap until we got to the back markers he got past them n a got held up then as i was on his arse 2 laps later he pulls off.was kinda speaking to him later he`s sorta local and races in france and spain at times so was well chuffed with mine ond the bikes performance bearing in mind i`d only done 4 20min sessions on this until we got here dijon is a must it fecan awesome n i am defo going back next year maybe twice :icon_thumleft:
back in the uk monday and on oulton tuesday as you all know got glenn on the track. was going well in the morning and in the afternoon session lost the rear going into cascades massive high side and well shit happens me n the bike are a bit fooked think glenns got a couple of fotos (its ok G you can show em) a bloke behind me got it on camera kinda weird in the fotage i`m hardley over n the rear whips out looks like ave hit oil or something who knows so ave got a winter project getting it ready for next year as for me no broken bones but severe bruising to my right foot and ave torn the muscle that attaches to the rear of my pelvis ( very sore but being a hardy scotsman ave not been crying  much ).

Glad you aren't too bad.  As Andy said, the footage looked like you were going very quick when it happened.
