I also had to carry my personal weapon too.... I used to carry a lot of kit on the army not nice....

gpmg, L85 A2, 320 hf radio, lion sight, png's, cws, and thats just my weapon and section kit without personal kit and ammo.... I have carried 120 pounds sometimes... also mare in mind in the army I was a skinny coont

  For pure shooting fun you can't beat the .17hmr it is str8 as a dye at 200yds (with no breeze) I have sat in a hide and took out dozens of rooks 2 fields away...they don't know what the feck is going on  :icon_thumright: would like to try it with the jimpy a bit of area denial never goes a miss.... That or a mk19  [whistle]

but the .338 is acurate to about 1200 metres and effective to 1800 metre .... you can have your 2 fields I will sit a mile away thanks  [rofl] [rofl] [rofl]

 .338 is a touch over kill for rooks rabbit and fox's not to mention expensive... And the farmer would not be to happy if a sniper pair started shooting his ground from someone else's  [rofl]  Then again i don't suppose he would be that impressed if we used the old golden egg launcher from a wmik  :icon_thumright:

Sounds like we move in simular other circles gopher. Save having to squeak charlie into range . Need a pretty good lamp for night-time though!!!

Use a .243 at night buddy only put the .17 on a fox if it's a clean shot :icon_thumright:
