I use Parcelforce regularish and I always get them to pick it up and sign that they've got 'custody' of the parcel...

The parcel was about 36" x 12" x 6 "  & weighed 30 pounds, it's not like it can accidently slip down the back of a sorting desk unnoticed or anything is it ?

Yeahbut how is that different from any place else ?   

Sainsburys is owned by people that make the managers of Royal Mail look like paupers, but do you go down the shops & find that there's no cornflakes 'cos the staff can't be arsed carting them in from out back ?  No, you don't.  Why ?  'cos the staff know full well  that unlike the post office, they have competition &  if they behaved like the PO workers do we'd simply all just bugger off next door to Asda & they'd all be out on their arses.

I mean, how does a PO worker screwing up the trackday that I've worked hard to pay for, or spoiling some kiddies birthday 'cos they can't be arsed delivering grannies pressie on time ,further the cause of the working class or impact the fat cats at the top ?
