think your board ? been out of hospital 2 weeks and im climbing the walls, well i would be if it wernt for the crutches  [rofl] wife keeps giving me earole for trying to do too much to soon.

I didn't realise the cast would have been that high...  [rofl] [rofl] :emb:

I had a scotch cast on for 16 weeks when I did my knee...so know how you feel Jedi mate!

he broke his leg above and below the knee, and he told me the hospital said that putting a cast on would pull the bone out(weight it down) and make it heal slower

legs not too bad thanks mate. the brake in the fibula (bottom of leg) is a none weight bearing bone so i just have to be carefull not to bang it about. the broken femur was just above the knee. when they pinned it they said going threw the knee would not be good as it will cause problems later in life so they went the olng way down. opened me up at the hip and pushed the pin in from the top made a small insition on the outside of my leg level with the break to screw it together.  :shock: the old black and decker got a lot of use that night in theater, still better than DIY  [rofl] Off the pain killers now and just have a bit of an ache in me knee. dont worry about bone joke im always good for a laugh  [rofl]
