I actually got my knee down for the first time last night. Unfortunatly it was only a dream.

It was so realistic though, I`d almost swear it really happened. Have any of you had a dream that when you woke you swear it actually happened.

Have decided this was a premonition and over the weekend head out to that lovely roundabout of junction 12 of th M11 ( to those that dont come off , turn right at the first roundabout back to Cambridge and in front of you is knee down heavan (for the gifted :crybaby2:) and finally pop me cherry B-)

Mate, it is 100% about body position,  (so long as you have a fair amount of lean on) if you can , follow someone who can do it, copy and have fun, be safe, and look after your baby!

Can't says I've had any biking premonitons that have come true, but last night, I woke up with a start thinking I was gonna be sent out to Afghanistan and fight in some shitty war!!  Imagine my utter dismay when I realised I actually am going next Friday!!!!! [rofl] [rofl] [rofl]

ive never got my knee down...

can still hustle fer sher,,, but more i try harder it gets.. so i dont even think bout it now...

bikes over far enuff... my knee always sits VERY high against the tank, as in at the top of the tank, and when i get my ass off the seat, lean my shoulder in and do the push out n down on the ball of my foot thing, my knee just stays parallel with the top of the tank, the bike would have to be laid on the floor to get it down in that position...

feels like my leg is too long from the knee down...lol....i see other peopel on bikes and their knee is almost level with the footpeg just riding around... mines WAY up on the tank...

d'oh!  :mad:

Best bit of advice is don't try to hard....

I push my arse back on the seat then role round the tank.... My knee down position and my track position is slightly different..... my knee down I can do it with the bike upright I hang off quite far, track I move my arse off butkeep my knee out but not pushed to the floor if it touch I lift it to carry more speed ... if the bike goes to far I use my knee to push it up a bit  :icon_thumright:

nah im too long on bikes to get stressed in any situation or ride tensed up...

it feels very natural to hang off both sides, n im quick enuff through the corners, but knee just doesnt seem to touch down...

when i used to TRY few years ago id get my toe caught between the footpeg and the ground the odd time...lol.. had the back kick out a few times like that...

its prolly a flexibility thing also ... but my knee does seem to remain pretty parallel with the top of the top of hte tank no matter how i shift my body around... if i get my fat ass too far back on the seat then way too much weight gets transferred onto my wrists...

you're twisting your pelvis the wrong way. Don't twist your pelvis to th einside but to the out side it pushes your out side knee into the tank and the inside knee out towards teh road

its not how close the knee is to the tank its the HEIGHT beside the tank if you knolw what i mean... its not low on the tank, its at the top of the tank etc..

im not really fussed either way but i suppose it would be kinda cool if it happened...

there's you other problem there should be no weight on your wrist what so ever you should be like this

there's you other problem there should be no weight on your wrist what so ever you should be like this

Sports bike you always have weight on your wrists to push the front into the ground and make it turn. I know where your coming from though G. Not too much weight on your wrists so that it upsets the bike.
