bikes only done 3600 miles though...   

my old ZX10R (brand new) made quite an agricultural noise so i know its part of the Kawasaki thing... (only ever owned Kwakers: GPz550->zzr600->zx6r->zx7r->793cc zx7r->zx10R so im used to it) but i am detecting a kind of clacking noise above and beyond that...

its on extended warranty so i expect that should cover any such issues...?

uh...lol.. 195 on the temp gauge, sorry - my bad there..

the fan kicks in around 200, and ive seen it go up to 217ish in treaffic in summer...

the point was that the clacking comes on more the hotter the engine gets...

it may be valve clearances, but thats more of a pinking noise i think (had it on my stroked out 7R before)

I think your bike is running far to hot 

or is that measured in degrees C or degrees F

one of those two yes.. for sure...

it works out at 90.5 degrees celsius...

TIP: never get on the bike when really ferking pissed and stoned n start pushing the mode buttons on the dash at random.

if your bike is running at 200 degree's C I think that is way too hot

im guessing its the start of cam chain tensioner issues... low mileage though... ahwell.. sh!t 'appens.. eh?
