Winter Project
« on: September 02, 2007, 05:34:39 PM »

Yes i know its f**kin depressing but winter is not far away, anyway i fancy a winter project for some garage fettling, so far i'm considering:

1. Supermoto - Off road wheels so i can have some winter green lane fun and supermoto wheels for some tarmac mucking about

2. Winter Hack - Something cheap and reliable like a VFR400

3. V Twin Trackbike - As i am an ex TL1000s owner, i still love the V Twins and always fancied a v twin trackbike, can't afford to do a 996 so would consider a TLR  :glasses9:

Any suggestions ?  :?:

Supermoto - suddenly the empty (almost all the time) B roads will be a whole lotta fun

A supermoto does sound like the best choice as can enjoy some tristy B road fun and frollicks, chuck a set of off raod wheels on and your messing about in the mud on the green lanes  :icon_thumright: :icon_thumright:

So far me thinks its either supermoto or V twins trackbike??????? :icon_scratch:

I'll check out ebay for that aprillia

More suggestions please :?:

Nice one chaps

If go V Twin route the TL is a tempting option but all depends on the monies available  :icon_thumright:

Ex Thumperzone Forum member so will always have a soft spot for the old TL's
