ok mate..... I understand how it is..... I think it was only meant in jest ..... Irish jokes are quite a common pub joke and I never think who it might offend when I laugh at them..... But then I laugh at jokes about English men,Chavs etc etc I am not biased who I laugh at....

I often laugh at myself sometimes.... yes and before you say it I might be a little strange  :shock:

dont get me wrong i like to think ive got a great sense of humour, and im well able to take a ribbing off those i know - once i know its just in jest..

its when someone ive never met, and they knowing where i am from, makes a joke like that without smilies, which in my eyes means its a straight up dig, not a joke,,, that makes my f'n blood boil...

kinda quick tempered, me.... kinda being the understatement of the year...

as i said above without a smily it comes across as serious... so when you put up a joke with the subject matter being irish are stupid and no indication it was meant lightly... then...

anyways...

i just need to recalibrate my brain for this place...

im used to the addage "the best defence is a good offence"

also some of my past jobs have been lets say less than savoury...  so you tend to get into a defensive frame of mind...

GRNINJA aint the only one with a flavourful past  ;-)
