How to put coded links in to threads.
« on: November 15, 2006, 09:26:39 PM »

Sorry, but I do hate seeing links in their entirity and would rather have it as a click "here" where the "here" is the link.

Anybody want to share this secret with me.

http://www.zx10r.co.uk/forum/index.php/topic,167.0.html  :icon_thumleft:

No not like that, like creating a hyperlink using "here" as the hyperlink so when you click on the word "here"  you open the page link to http://www.zx10r.co.uk/forum/index.php/topic,167.0.html.

I know there's nothing wrong with what you have posted as an example but I just think it makes for a dirty post if that makes sense to you.

Or does anyone have a link to inserting html code into forums threads that i could look at to see if  I can sort it myself.

Found here

Whohoo.

Lesson Over, Schools Out.  By George, he's got it.

Tomorrows lesson will be to use the picture as the link.  Whoo.

that should be similar

[ url=http://www.zx10r.co.uk][ img]http://www.zx10r.co.uk/greenzx10r.jpg

again the example has the spaces remove the space to get the end result bingo

hmmm I will have to look into that but I don't see why not.... though the sound file would need to be small or need to have lots of bandwidth available... I will let you know matey
