i totaly agree with chris he's right guys the rear shock actual decompresses under corning mid or on anitial acceleraction as its a transfer of weight  so the shock is actualy not compressed? it happens in a millisecond for that second there is nothing between you and the road that also is a cause for the dreaded high side we all fear?CHRIS I UNDERSTAND

g man the reason your tyres flexing so much is tyre preesure simple as 30 psi to low in my eyes  lowest id go is 40 psi and thats just to allow for expantion of air as the tyre gets warm?
i run 32 front 42 rear

dewd.....your are 100 percent wrong.the angles between front and rear sprockets and the swingarm pivot form a triangle.when throttle is applied the chain(wich pulls from the top of the rear sprocket) tries to pull the rear wheel forward,which it can't,as it tries to do this the only thing it can do is to pivot.seeing as the rear axle is lower than the front,it tries to pivot underneath the bike,which raises the rear upon acceleration.when that happens tha front raises more than the rear...this is what you feel and it is also what makes you think the rear compresses....but it doesn't.

i run 32 front 42 rear

If you run those pressures on the track, you will bin the bike - that is a guaranteed outcome  [naughty]

what would you run dave?  as i haven't done a track day yet only motor cross and the od touring car but thats a different story?

On track - 30/30 or 29/31 or 31/29 dependant what the weather's doing
