Insurance nowadays is a dark art ( no harry potter pun intended) unless like you say , your an old fart , live in the country with 100 years NCB

The only answer is finding what we feel is value for money  :icon_thumright: :icon_thumright:..

I think I finally realised I'm knocking on a bit about 4-5 years ago.   I was sat at a canteen table with a dozen guys I work with one lunchtime when I mentioned I was going to see Joe Strummer play the Astoria the next night, blank faces all around, not one of the feckin whippersnapper  Philistines had a clue who he was !    [wall]

As for insurance , in my experience it's claim history & where you live that have more influence than age - a couple of years ago a guy I work with was paying almost exactly the same for his car insurance as me.  Both of us had similar no claims & clean licences, only I live in London & had an 1800 Astra, he lives in the sticks someplace out Basingstoke way , is 18 years younger & was driving a 5.7 litre 400BHP Holden !

I'm 46 at the mo, figure if it's good enough for Rossi....   :tongue3:
