06/07 Rearsets
« on: August 06, 2007, 11:17:35 PM »

Hi all,
Got a set of rearsets from Ebay a little while back.  I'm a bit lacking (mechanically) and couldn't get them to fit, anyone interested?  All still in their original packaging as delivered.  They are in black and are Sato copies I think.

Don't know why they wont fit, guess I just cant understand the instructions that came with them.  If you wanted them, would let em go for 30 quid plus p&p.  Can get phots of them tomorrow.  At the mo, they are just gathering dust on my garage shelf.  Not going to try putting them on my new baby either, so there they sit!

Would you be happy to meet at Bridge motorcycles on Marsh Barton?  If tomorrow is good for you, could make it anytime you say, or whenever suits you.

Nah you we not being a numpty mate the gear selector rod was so long the left rearset could only go in one place and you were right about the angle on the master cylinder that is why i had to make a spacer. They did fit but needing new brake lines was the last straw. shame because they are not bad rearsets just lacked a few finishing touches

yes mate they are almost identical to the set i have now.. but these came semi put together if  i  had seen the ones i have now i could of fitted the first set a piece of piss don't panic with them pm me any probs and i will try and help you out... I now know that my brake hose would not fit any rearsets so i should of stuck with the first set and saved myself 200 quid
