My leg is nowhere near them, but your slightly taller than me by the looks of your photo. You must be twisting round the tank rather than shifting sideways :dontknow:

When you drop your shoulder, try pushing the bike away from you. The bike will be more upright and you should get off sideways rather than twisting. You should have perfect position for the lag to hook on the tank then.

I hook my leg on the tank rather than put to much weight through the bars..... it works i have touched the pegs and the front keeps tracking.... i will show you what i mean on monday mate it's hard to explain.. i don't hang of much at all just shift my arse and lean forward so my head is over and to one side of the tank... make sense or no  ???

When you hang off...in my books you need to have your pelvis facing the way you are going ie turning into a right hander your pelvis should be facing into the corner...that way your left leg will automatically grip the left hand side of the tank and your right knee should be when cranked over aining for the deck!!....like i said thats the way i do it and how i have learned.

Your body should stay paralell to the bike to be in the perfect position.

yeah it does make sense mate...... I don't do that though I hang off quite far still one cheek on the seat but roll my body round and away from the tank so my body will be the first to touch the deck rather then the bike.... just gives me more confidence knowing I don't have far to go to touch the floor ....  B-)

Draw a line down the side of the bike. your center of your body should be more or less on that line. Another tip I was given is to treat your windscreen as a door and you need to peer round it going into corners.

BTW anybodytaking a laptop onMonday I'll bring my Ron Haslam school DVD :icon_thumright: for those small breaks that we might get.
