Draw a line down the side of the bike. your center of your body should be more or less on that line. Another tip I was given is to treat your windscreen as a door and you need to peer round it going into corners.

BTW anybodytaking a laptop onMonday I'll bring my Ron Haslam school DVD :icon_thumright: for those small breaks that we might get.

Dont think i'll want to be huddled round a laptop mate, sorry  I'll be sunbathing :hello2:

Your body should stay paralell to the bike to be in the perfect position.

I dont practice what i preach though [wall]

best bit of advice I can give..... is don't try and get your knee down at silverstone...... you will spend half you time thinking about getting your knee down....

just think about being smooth fast and flowing if you knee is going to touch (i.e right speed , right position) then it will  :icon_thumleft:

 :iamwithstupid:

I find I slow down going into a corner if I'm going to attemp to get my knee down as I think about position, speed angle and making the corner without dropping the bike, it makes me back off. When I go into a corner nice and sweet and fast I come out of it quicker and then think shit I could have had my knee down if I had my postion right.

Now I just ride. I hang off most of the  time now and feel a lot more comfortable on this bike than my ol' 6 I know it'll come in time.

I'm going to Silverhoon to have fun and ride within my comfort zone if I feel I'm pushing to hard I'll back off. Saying that though I hate loosing.

Red mist is bad.  [naughty] Do a drive through the pit lane if it descends...gives you time to slow down and calm down and any one who has caused the mist is now miles infront out of the way.  :icon_thumright:

me thinks it will be me creating the red mist with others as I take badlines and brake far to early for corners.   :emb:
