When she wears out these countertops she can have new ones.......should only take...oh....15 years or so........

She's already demanding a new sofa.........."Not until we finish paying off this one dear"

Being married is like negotiating with a terrorist.....you just get a constant and unpredictable list of demand all the time, you have no way of fulfilling those demands so the terrorist becomes enraged and someone gets nagged or their head bitten off.....

I'd rather have new bits for my bike than new worktops in the kitchen - so long as the kitchen is clean and not falling apart then that'll do me  :icon_thumright:

The bit about negotiating with a terrorist is hilarious . . . are all you guys' wives/girlfriends really that bad  :dontknow:  [rofl]  [rofl]

have to say that my missus is bloody great and we have no such discussions just agreement mostly, oh and the odd disagreement to keep it healthy  :boxing:   [rofl] [rofl]

I've come to the conclusion that I must be odd.  I hate shopping - unless its for bikes and bike bits.  Would rather spend my money on lots of holidays and bike trips than spend it on things for the house.  My girly friends find it highly amusing when we are out as they are all usually comparing manicured nails and designer handbags, and I say something like 'see this bruise where I hit a pigeon at 120!!'   [rofl]
