in the hadge/ditch bottom
« on: July 30, 2007, 10:59:19 PM »

few of us was out tonight for a bit of a blast as you do,anyway at our local bike meety type place we (5 off us) got chatting to a local guy and a lass about bikes etc.
anyway heard these bike come screaming down the road and pull in,2 gsxr`s and a fazer 1000.
reconised the black gsxr1000 as he is there alot.

when we left they tagged onto the back off our group, when we got through the village and onto the faster stuff the black one and the fazer shot past us,i was about 3rd back on my zx9 as the 10 is still away.
anyway the other gsxr (750) came flying up and dropped in between me and my mate obviousley trying to catch his mate.
now my mate bless him is running in his new 6r so wasnt going for it but he is abit of a mobile chicain shall we say.
anyway after a few looks and attempt the gsxr does him so i decide to go after him as i know the road quite well.
we both squrted past my mate and i pulled him in but at the next bend i think he just braked to late, back end all over rear wheel locked and before i new it him and his bike were in the air and in the hedge bottom.
we all stopped,he was ok and the bike wasnt that bad really , we dragged it out and put it on the road,i bent his mirror bracked back so the bars could move freely.
looked a rider with abit of care.
guy was ok and thanked us for our help and off we went while he waited for his mates to return.

never seen anyone get spat off before.

Not a good thing to see and glad to hear he is ok.  Just as well you weren't too close or you could have been caught up in it.  Bet you had a few of these  :occasion14: when you got home

yikes, that the danger of riding in a group like that, running beyond your skill level trying to move from group to group  :-(

glad to hear that the guy was ok  :icon_thumright:
