after watchin BSB at mallory Sunday i have to admit i quite liked the idea of a chicane at the end of gerards.
why dont they have it at the trackdays

would give you another left hander.

There's enough chicanes already at Mallory!

It was put in to slow the superbikes down after Rutter had a bad accident a few years ago.

I sort of agree Darren. It added another dimension to the track and a really hard braking zone which i like. I do love the full Gerards though.

There are plans to extend the track at Mallory! have just seen article and pics when I remember where will post.

Each time I have been to Mallory we didn`t do that chicane.It was put to a vote once,no body wanted to do it! Full Gerrards is awesome!

it could do with extending Horse, bit to small for a 10r, i only used up to 3rd gear in mays trackday

, i agree with most that the full gerards is grand.

i just think the track lacks more corners, i think it is in need of being extended.

and Horse reckons there are plans to do just that

sod it I think they should just make it a figure of 8 right and gerrards and a left hand gerrards with straights left knee down right knee down

we could get the marshals to put cones out aswell so it would look like
an advanced C.B.T.
