On a positive note at least it was admitted to you so you will get it sorted, my son's moped was flattenend in a car park a couple of years ago, it was witnessed but the driver just then parked elsewhere in the supermarket car park  They then apparently did their shopping and left.

A nice person gave the details of the car, reg was a digit out  and I managed to trace it after police said they could do nothing so went back with the correct reg and he was given a warning, stupidy my 16 year old lad siad he'd sort the damage himself to the police 

some people need hitting with a big stick until they bleed

thanks for the replies guys    Yeh, I'm lucky she didn't just drive off and that she was a nice honest person.  It helped that her son-in-law is actually a biker, so he understood how I was feeling, oh and he was also able to tell her it wasn't going to be cheap to repair.

I know its going to get sorted, its just all the wasted time and energy that goes with it that annoys me

cheers Andy    Stupid thing is I'd spent ages the day before cleaning it, making it all nice and shiny.  Looked stunning for a change (as you know its usually covered in road grime - lots of it!!).  The shine must have blinded the woman . . .
