Commuting
« on: July 18, 2007, 07:37:33 AM »

Your work routes! What are they and how long do they take!?

Mine is this (ish, obviously its not exact for security reasons ):

http://maps.google.com/maps?f=d&hl=en&geocode=&saddr=sg2&daddr=51.546976,-0.104027+to:EC2&mrcr=0,1&mrsp=1&sz=13&mra=dpe&sll=51.555195,-0.11158&sspn=0.076207,0.159645&ie=UTF8&z=13&om=1

On a bad day (2 accidents on the A1, the M1 being closed so everyone taking the A1 and chockablock traffic requiring filtering from the M25 to the office), takes me an hour.

On a good day (like today, the only obstructions being 10 sets of LONG lights allowing a damn vespa to get cocky with me) *cough* 27 minutes...

Hence why i just posted my postcodes as SG2 and EC2 - neither of which are anywhere near enough for someone to find the bike...plus people dont know what time i ride that way as its sporadic...

so is you a chicken then? or just technically incompetent?  :pottytrain2:

I wont post the route, but when i go back to uni in september, I'll have to take the north circular (A406) southbound form palmers green, and follow all the roads to kingston (A205, A307).

With my carefull riding, it takes me an hour...its only 20 miles or something!
