OK , OK ,

It was an 02/52 plated Yamaha XJR1300SP , In my defense it WAS black with mirror finished rims , swingarm and other metalwork and also dumped the standard cans for Blue Flame twinports without the baffles and the K+N filters helped her breathe a little easier ( had a dyno report from some place in Aylesbury showing 136bhp and shit loads more torque than standard ) Went like a scalded wildebeast in a straight line but there is no way those twin shocks have ever been anywhere near an Ohlins factory coz it used to shit itself at the first sign of a bend ( bit like me  [rofl] )

It was big , brash and feckin loud  [whistle] [whistle]

  Is that it?

I had one of them...well an XJR1200,set up by BigCC and kicking out just over a real 125bhp at the wheel, bought it to slow myself down but......got pissed off with the back end lifting off the floor every time i cranked it over, thats with Raask rear sets fitted  so then sold it and bought a ZRX1100 which was far better at cornering than the Yam.Was out on the Rex one day and had a race with a ZX9c1,slaughtered him into the corners but the fooker kept blatting away on the straights!!! Thats when the call for SPEED reared its ugly head once again....so i sold the Rex and bought a ZX9c1,nice and fast!
So dont hang your head in shame Si,if it were a Harley....then you would have to leave the site forever banished!

would you have to wear a lid on that?  :icon_scratch:

Simp...I am with you on the Tuono.....would also love to have a ride on a 990 Superduke.  Thinking that lack of fairing would keep the speeds down....
