Hey all, just saying a quick hello! Had a busy couple of weeks with work and stuff....not been out on bike much either as weathers been shit. Also, neglected my duties as forum member so this is me saying a big group hello.
Competed in the Microsoft UK Challenge last week in Sheffield (pre-flood).
http://www.challengerworld.com/et.cfm?eid=1111If you wait for the video to play, you'll see me! First few seconds...I say "Wouldn't have missed it for the world"...yes...I'm the fatty skinhead!
For those of you who fancy it, get some colleagues and some sponsorship and I'll see ya there next year. This is my 3rd year competing and we came in 44th place out of 120 teams. Which isn't bad. We were in 17th but messed one event up....but thats the challenge! Last year we finished 97th so we're getting better...top 20 next year hopefully!
Other than that nothing else massively interesting..
Commuted on bike yesterday, but was forced to work late and had to ride home in the rain. 140 miles, in the pissing rain, in leathers, with black visor and had to sit on M6 as they're was an accident. GREAT! Felt a bit like driving a car, at night, with no lights, in the rain WITH SHADES ON! All good experience though...
Can't wait till track day....woo hooo! Hope your all well.
