got the bike back from the dealer, he replaced the side stand switch which was causing it to cut out,
hopfully this will be the end to the problems, as the bike is just about a year old.
i will be riding this to france next week leaving sunny northern ireland and arriving in fleetwood on thurs 5th then riding down to the channel tunnel for either a midnight or first thing friday morning crossing.
myself and a mate on a zx12r ninja (yes he's carrying most of the luggage) will be in normandy for about 5 days.
anyone know any good campsites around the folkstone area  for a possible stopover on thursday night.

Hmm folkestone ,I used to stay in winchelsea but its about 20 odd miles away 

I am sure there are some kent lads on here will be able to tell you
